Robert Louis Stevenson's 175th Birthday Celebration!
Celebrate the 175th birthday of Robert Louis Stevenson—the Saranac Lake resident who wrote Treasure Island and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde—Thurs. Nov. 13th 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Saranac Lake Free Library.
The event will feature a talk by NY Times bestselling author Tim Rowland, a dramatic reading from Pendragon Theatre, bagpipe music, birthday cake, and fundraising raffle prizes. The Adirondack Center for Writing, Historic Saranac Lake, and the Stevenson Society of America will give toasts, so come raise a glass!
Start the party early with all-day free admission at the Robert Louis Stevenson Cottage Museum Nov. 13th 9:00–5:00 before evening festivities at the library.
